Design West Technologies Awarded $132MM Contract for Navy Vertical Launcher System Motor Control Panels

Tustin, CA, September 29, 2022 - Design West Technologies (DWT), a defense contractor that brings innovative engineering solutions to warfighters through weapons and CBRN systems, announced today that the company has been awarded a contract for Navy Vertical Launch Program.
Naval Surface Warfare Center-Port Hueneme Division, California awarded a maximum value contract (N63394-22-C-0008) of $132,386,790 to Design West Technologies Inc., Tustin, California for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of MK41 VLS Motor Control Panels and associated components. The Motor Control Panels and components are in support of the MK41 Vertical Launching System used on ships of the U.S. Navy and foreign navies. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2027.
