Design West Technologies Awarded $138MM Contract for Navy Vertical Launcher System Launch Sequencers

Tustin, CA, September 29, 2021 - Design West Technologies (DWT), a defense contractor that brings innovative engineering solutions to warfighters through weapons and CBRN systems, announced today that the company has been awarded a contract for Navy Vertical Launch Program.
Naval Surface Warfare Center-Port Hueneme Division, California awarded a maximum value contract (N63394-21-C-0011) of $138,822,860 to Design West Technologies Inc., Tustin, California for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of MK41 VLS launch sequencers and associated kitted material. The launch sequencers and kitted materials are subsystems and components of the MK 41 Vertical Launching System used on ships of the U.S. Navy and foreign navies. Expected completion date is June 2029
